Backlight life of industrial displays cold cathode fluorescence

    Lamp is the most commonly used backlight light source in LCD. In industrial applications, the lifespan of CCF backlights is generally at least 50000 hours, or when the brightness drops by half compared to new ones. In many consumer applications, the time required for the backlight to decrease to half its initial brightness is only 10000 hours.

    Due to consumer applications that do not require continuous display operation, a lifespan of 10000 hours of CCF backlight is sufficient, but this is not the case in most industrial and medical applications. The lifespan of backlights is very low compared to the lifespan of LCDs. People are striving to double the lifespan of backlights, but in most industrial applications, a minimum lifespan of 50000 hours is considered the lifespan standard for CCF backlights
