The perspective of industrial displays

Commercial and consumer monitors are usually designed for single person use sitting directly in front of the monitor. In most industrial applications, this situation is very rare, for example, physicians or nurses cannot stop during the diagnosis and treatment process to directly view the monitor, they only want to know the expected data. For large machines, it is simply impossible to operate directly in front of the monitor. For the navigation of ships or aircraft, it is also inconvenient for the driver to sit directly in front of the LCD, especially when there are multiple displays that are facing the viewer from different angles.
The monitor should have a wide viewing angle, or be perceived as' understanding the displayed content at a glance '. Consumer displays generally cannot meet this requirement due to their use of Twisted Nematic technology, resulting in limited viewing angles. In order to better adapt to industrial applications, displays are required to have a wide viewing angle, and display technologies (such as ASV or MVA) with a viewing angle of up to 178 ° have been developed.
